“The Kings Arms Hotel distinguishes itself as a meticulously maintained, late 16th-century coaching inn in the heart of Abergavenny, near attractions like the Brecon Beacons. It strikes a balance between historic charm and modern comforts, with spacious rooms and a lively atmosphere fueled by live music. I noted the hotel's commitment to using fresh, local produce in its diverse menu, while also offering pet-friendly accommodations, making it a very complete experience.”

a decent stay overall
convenient location nearby car park warm welcome friendly staff good sized room drink facilities small menu limited change excessive charge new service roast absence no roast choice
the location proved convenient, especially with a car park situated just across the road. i found the staff always offered a warm welcome. the room was of a good size and included drink making facilities.
the food menu seemed rather small. it also lacked change, so choices felt boring if you didn't want a roast. i noticed the new service charge was excessive.
